The Methow Valley Chamber Music Festival 2006 (July 28 – August 5) offers eight days of world class performing artists presenting chamber music in an outdoor setting. Repertoire ranges from Baroque to contemporary with strings, piano, brass and voice. The main stage, weekend concerts frame a host of midweek events taking chamber music throughout the Methow Valley, from Mazama to Carlton. A glittering gala features a virtuoso piano recital and included in the menu are two free events – toe-tapping tubas and a family concert.
