Concertmaster Jing Wang

Canadian violinist Jing Wang, newly-appointed Concertmaster for the Dallas Opera under Maestro Graeme Jenkins, will return to Twisp for this summer's festival.

Wang's latest project leaves his distinctive mark on the field of pop music in a recording with international opera tenor James Valenti and Korean pop star Mina Chang. Together they recorded "The Prayer", by Carole Bayer Sager and David Foster. listen

After the session, the recording producer said, "When concertmaster Jing Wang started playing, no one dared take a breath it was so beautiful."
